Located on Maui's southwest shore in the heart of beautiful Makena Bay, this single story oceanfront cottage is an island paradise. Built over 40 years ago and recently remodeled with hardwood floors and vintage Hawaiian decor, guests are provided with all the modern conveniences for an enjoyable stay.
The large sliding glass doors in the livingroom open to a deck with a panoramic view of the neighboring islands of Molokini, Kaho'olawe and Lanai. The ocean's high water mark is a mere fifteen feet away! From the spa and the lanai one can enjoy the famous Maui sunsets while watching the large green sea turtles frolicking in the surf. During the winter months, the humpback whales can be seen as they migrate along the coast.
For five years Maui has been named the "World's Best Island" by the readers of Travel & Leisure Magazine. Conde Nast Travel Magazine has rated Maui the "Best Island in the World" for twelve consecutive years.
Makena is considered to be one of the most beautiful places on Maui. Some of the islands best diving and snorkeling are directly in front of you while close by one can enjoy world famous restaurants, tennis, golf, shopping and white sand beaches. Rates for 2008:
$3500 per week for 2 people ...$500 per night, plus tax*
$3850 per week for 3-4 people, up to 4 person maximum ...$550 per night, plus tax*

As a courtesy, reservations are held 7 days only, pending receipt of 50% payment. The payment, less a cancellation fee of $45, is refundable up to 60 days prior to the arrival date. For reservations canceled within 60 days of arrival, the payment (less the cancellation fee) is refundable only if we are able to refill the reserved dates.
